Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a Registered General Nurse with an interest in resuscitation training who will work alongside our client's Resuscitation Manager to cover maternity leave.
Hours: Mon - Thurs 8.30-5.00 and Fri 8.30 - 4.30
The successful candidate will be a source of expertise within Irish Heart on matters relating to medical enquiries, heart health information, and resuscitation training.
" Act as a contributor on the provision of medical/health information on awareness/information campaigns for patients
" Carry out ACLS and BLS training in conjunction with the Resus Manager
" Coordination and quality assurance of ACLS and BLS training
" Liaison with appropriate training bodies and other key stakeholders as required to ensure training is conducted to the required standards and guidelines.
" Complete administration as required for the certification of training and ensure accurate and up to date record keeping.
" Provide support and guidance to affiliated training sites, instructors and faculty in the delivery of ACLS and BLS training.
" Provide technical support to the ACLS and BLS programme.
" Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the CPR & ECC Training Programme.
" Control of budget including income and expenditure for the Resuscitation team

" Must hold a recognised third level qualification in Nursing
" At least 5 years' experience as a paramedic or registered nurse with a strong focus on CPR, BLS and ACLS
" Innovative and creative individual with a passion for change who will deliver results and thrives in a challenging environment
" Excellent report writing skills with exceptional attention to detail
" Ability to prioritise workload, plan and to work to multiple deadlines
" Strong computer, database and MS Office skills.
" Effective communicator with the ability to implement change and work successfully within a team
" Demonstrate evidence of effective planning, organisation and time management skills.
" Ability to take ownership and be accountable for making decisions
