Job Description

Psychiatric Nurse
We have a requirement for a Psychiatric Nurse in a private hospital in Co. Dublin. You'll work closely with support workers, psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and health visitors. You may also help clients if they need to deal with social workers, relevant charities, local government or housing officials.
Applicants must:
" Be registered with the NMBI
" Have suitable qualifications
" Be fluent in the English language (both verbally and written)
" Have the ability to work well individually as well as part of a team, being able to support your colleagues in providing the highest standards of care.
" Have excellent observation skills
" Have excellent communication and listening skills
" Have the ability to gain a patient's trust
" Have empathy and the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds
" Have the ability to stay calm in difficult situations
" Have assertiveness and the ability to represent patients' interests
