Job Description

The main duties and responsibilities include:

  • To help run the clinics and health promotion activities, ensuring the appropriate quality assurance systems are adhered to.
  • To run health promotion campaigns and provides support and advice to the communications team in the development of such campaigns
  • Help run health promotion projects for specific settings and target groups as necessary (e.g. children, socially excluded groups, schools, workplaces, etc.).
  • To manage and support staff and volunteers in their health promotion roles.
  • To build and maintain relationships across sectors and agencies and influence programme development towards achieving better population health.
  • Represent the organisation in a range of fora, at external events and in the media, as required.
  • Manage the Health Promotion team workflow
  • To contribute in general terms to achieving the mission of the organisation, observing its stated values, working constructively and co-operatively with all aspects of the organisation as required.
