On behalf of our client, we have a requirement for a highly experienced Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (Intensive Care Unit) to join a prestigious Hospital in Co. Dublin. Our client is committed to providing the highest standard of care to all their patients. As Clinical Nurse Manager you will report to the Assistant Director of Nursing. The Clinical Nurse Manager has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area.
" Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by Bord Altranais agus Cn imhseachais na h ireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be entitled to be so registered
" Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
" Critical Care qualification with a minimum 3.5 years' experience in an acute general setting, dual qualifications in Critial Care nursing is also desirable.
" A management qualification is desirable.
" Preceptorship/teaching and assessing of students is also desirable
" Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
" Must possess strong leadership qualities, communication skills and clinical skills.
" Fluency in English, both written and spoken
" Must be computer literate
" Flexibility and excellent use of initiative
